Canadian Adventure Part 5 - Cousins and Randomness

Here is a bunch of Random photos.

Our final  "Canadian" experience was to visit Tim Hortons - a donut and sandwich shop that is ALL over Canada.  It was a very tasty brunch!

Here are some cute cousin pictures

It happened to be my black day....I mean my birthday while we were there.  Nathan and Kathy did a really great job helping me celebrate.  I woke up and they had balloons and streamers hung up throughout the house.  They also bought me Doritos and Oreos - things that are unheard of at this Buckley house and physically hurt Kathy to buy :)  They also made me a really great cake - and Cooper helped put all the candles on - it was a big flame.

Leah had her first cake and really really enjoyed it!

On the way home there was an accident on the two lane highway that we had to go through.  We looked at this view for a good solid hour....awesome.

We also ran in to a really good storm and found this fantastic rainbow.  It kept getting bigger and brighter, then went to a double full rainbow.  It was the most vibrant, beautiful rainbow I have ever seen.

And that was our vacation!

Canadian Adventure Part 4 - Sunday

Sunday was another fantastic day full of fun and adventure.
Here we are preparing for church.
Kenzie getting crimped by Aunt Kathy

Yes - those are blue wings.... manly aren't they :)  No - he didn't get to wear them to church.
Sandi is ready to go - and super cute!

Nate and Paul had to go to a different Ward and they borrowed Kathy's brother's car....and aviators.  Don't they look hot?  Jack got to ride with them over to dinner.

Dinner at the Peterson's - fun,  but a little redneck :)

Movie's in the "media room" at the Peterson's - they even got popcorn.

These are some of my favorite pictures:

Canadian Adventure Part 3 - O'Brien Provincial Park on the Wapati River

On Saturday we went to O'Brien Provincial Park and played in the Wapati River.  It was very cold and I planned on sitting on the edge with Kathy, but that didn't happen.
Playing a little soccer while waiting to swim
Scouting out the perfect place

Mosley was so excited to come!

You can't see her well - but that is Kathy and Leah in the distance - beautiful park!

Chilling on the side of the river

I got brave and decided to go in the river and try to cross it by myself....Nater had to help me.

I'm not sure why Nate did the war paint - but we had SO much fun floating down the river.

All of us in the cold cold River - if we weren't all in swimsuits we would use this for our Christmas card.

Cute kiddos floating in the river

Canadian Adventure Part 2 - Musreau Lake (aka Dr. Pepper Lake)

Day two in Canada we went to Musreau Lake which is about 50 minutes south of Grande Prairie.  Jaron and Kenzie decided to call it Dr. Pepper lake because the water was orange....yes - orange.  It looked like what happens when you drink all the soda except a little and the ice melts.  I tried to take a picture but couldn't quite capture it.
